The Sharp 2T-C40BG5KG2FB is a 40-inch Full HD LED smart TV running the AQUOS NET+ platform, with Freeview Play built in for live and catch-up television across BBC iPlayer, ITVX, Channel 4, My5, and UKTV. It connects to Netflix, Deezer, and YouTube, and includes a full internet browser alongside a 7-day electronic programme guide.
Three HDMI 1.4 ports handle consoles, set-top boxes, and Blu-ray players, while two USB 2.0 ports support media playback and USB recording so you can record programmes directly to a connected drive. Miracast screen mirroring, built-in Wi-Fi, and Ethernet give you flexible connectivity options, and the optical audio output pairs the TV with a soundbar or home cinema system. The 20 W two-speaker system also supports high-resolution audio for compatible sources.
The panel runs at 50 Hz with a native contrast ratio of 5000:1, keeping motion clean for everyday viewing, sport, and streaming. At 7.6 kg the set is straightforward to position on its aluminium stand or mount on a 200 x 200 mm VESA bracket. This is a fully tested and graded unit offered by HCI Distribution.
