This is the voluntary modern slavery and human trafficking statement of HCI Distribution Ltd ("HCI", "we", "us", "our"). The Modern Slavery Act 2015 requires a formal statement only from organisations with an annual turnover of £36 million or more. HCI is below that threshold and is therefore not legally required to publish a statement, but we choose to set out our position because we take these issues seriously.

1. Our business

HCI Distribution Ltd is a UK distributor of refurbished, graded and ex-corporate IT equipment and electronics, supplying trade and consumer customers from our distribution centre in Ringwood, Hampshire.

2. Our commitment

We are committed to acting ethically and with integrity, and to taking reasonable steps to ensure modern slavery and human trafficking do not take place in our business or our supply chains. We do not tolerate slavery, servitude, forced or compulsory labour, or human trafficking.

3. Our supply chain

Because we source predominantly refurbished and ex-corporate stock, much of our supply chain is UK and EU based. We expect our suppliers and partners to comply with applicable employment, health-and-safety and anti-slavery laws, and we will not knowingly work with any business that does not.

4. Steps we take

• We seek to work with established, reputable suppliers;
• We are prepared to raise concerns with suppliers and to end relationships where we identify a serious risk;
• We encourage staff and partners to report any concerns about modern slavery to us.
